Pre chill a Coupe glass by popping it in your freezer or filling it with ice cubes.

Muddle the basil leves in the bottom of your shaker (gently, the aim is to bruise gently). Add the rest of the ingredients and ice to a shaker and shake, shake, shake!

Fine strain into your glass (removing the ice first if that is how you chilled it). Garnish with a floating basil leaf and a lime twist if you are feeling fancy!

Perfect for spring celebrations!

New Braccan Cocktail!

Perfect Serve (for you) B&T (Braccan and Tonic)

Vicki's favourite serve is your favourite glass, plenty of ice, your choice of Braccan Dry Gin measure, Indian  tonic , a lime wheel  and sprig of rosemary. We don't recommend garnishing with a stinging nettle!

We find that the Indian tonic enhances the herbaceous  and woody notes from the nettles. If you wish to put more emphasis on the citrus botanicals we suggest using Mediterranean tonic and garnishing with pink grapefruit and rosemary.

For a sweeter serve, try Elderflower tonic and an orange wheel as garnish.

We want you to enjoy our gin how you like it!

Berkshire Stinging Knees  - a classic cocktail but local!

· 60ml Braccan Dry Gin

· 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

· 15ml honey syrup (3 parts water to 1 part Berkshire Honey from Busy Bee Honey Company

· 10ml orange juice

Pop a Martini or coupe glass in the freezer early or fill with ice to pre chill.

Shake all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake, shake, shake so that your shaker is too cold to hold! Get your glasses from the freezer or discard the ice that's chilling them and FINE strain the cocktail into the glass.

Garnish with a slice of orange peel that you squeeze over the drink to express the delicious oils.

Braccan Spritz

Add some sparkle to your cocktail repertoire!

  • 35ml Braccan Dry Gin
  • 25ml Elderflower Liqueur
  • 90ml Sparkling Wine
  • Soda water, lime wedges, mint and ice.

Rub the skin of the lime around the edge of the glass for extra class! Fill your glass with ice. Add the gin and elderflower liqueur and stir gently. Add the sparkling wine and lime wedges. Stir again then top up with soda water. Finish by dropping some spanked* mint in the top.

*spank your mint by merely slapping it on your palm to release the oils.

Braccan-groni

Braccan makes an excellent negroni, a truely classic cocktail. Embrace the bitter.

  • 35ml Braccan Dry Gin
  • 35ml of Campari (replace with Aperol if you'd like it less bitter or really push the boat out and infuse a sprig of rosemary in your Campari for 24 hours before making)
  • 35ml Sweet Red Vermouth - we recommend using Vermut Lustau as it's jammy berry fruitiness compliments Braccan's earthy herbal notes beautifully.

Put all of the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir to combine and dilute. Strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube. If you have n't infused your Campari then add a sprig of rosemary and twist a piece of orange peel over the top to express the oils before dropping into your drink.
